Fall in Budapest at Corvinus U.

The program has two main goals: to provide a rigorous academic program which gives students the opportunity to be immersed in the historic environment of their studies, and to build valuable cross-cultural skills by living in an international setting.

Academic Program:

The academic program earns students up to 15 semester hours of credit. (*equivalent to 22.5 quarter hours for those on a term schedule). The program is designed to give every student a solid understanding of the Hungarian culture, while at the same time allowing for the program to be personalized to each students individualized needs. Students can choose to take Hungarian, which helps them communicate in the local language, understand the Hungarian culture, and adapt to their new environment. Intermediate Hungarian is also available. Students can choose up to five courses of their choice. Students earn 3 semester hours of credit for each regular class and 1.5 semester hours of credit for Hungarian.

Courses: Classes are offered in Economics, Business, Social and Political Sciences, Public Administration, Liberal Arts, Languages, Computer Science, and Law.

The CEECE Budapest program includes:

1. tuition and fees for up to five courses.

2. an official transcript from Corvinus University of Budapest

3. accommodation for the duration of the program.

4. airport pick-up

5. orientation

6. resident director in Budapest

7. scheduled events and excursions.

Application, Program Fee, and Deadline:

The first step to admission is submitting your application. After your application has been approved and we have received your $300 deposit, we will reserve your place in the program and register you for the courses you have chosen. The comprehensive program fee for Fall 2008 is $8,899 with the dorm option and $9,899 with the apartment option and includes everything listed above. The application deadline for the program is April 11th, 2008. Late applications may be accepted if space is available. The balance of the program fee is due by July 25th, 2008.
